The new Community Council, a non-hierarchical (no chair or voting) advisory group created by the Town Council, will focus on building an updated Plains Area Growth Policy to understand and plan for future growth in the Plains area.

The Community Water Management Project will begin planning in February for volunteer household and community water management options next summer, 2023.
